Gathan hails from Karnath and was training under the half orc necromancer Gra’antis Mansblood. Gathan’s main duty during the war was to secure skeletons for Karnathi skeleton production at Fort Bones. He spent some months in Thrane trying to sow civil unrest. The Mournland ended this mission prematurely or perhaps was so much more successful that any further work by Gethan was unnecessary.

After the war this duty was reduced and Gathan had completed his basic training. He decided to travel to the Mournland to secure power for himself. He is set up in the nearby city of Karrlakton overlooking the Cyre River. There is plenty of work for adventurers as the city has a large influx of Cyran refugees, Blood of Vol evangelists, Dragon Below cultists and a host of doomsayers.

“It is power. I care not where it springs from.”

“The sun always shines on the wicked.”
